Martin Schindler could look back on another successful weekend of darts. After a quarter-final at the UK Open earlier this month, he reached the semi-finals of Players Championship 5 on Saturday.
At that tournament, 'The Wall' beat the likes of Ian White (6-3), Danny van Trijp (6-2) and Dirk van Duijvenbode (6-4). ''Unfortunately, I then ran into Ross Smith (6-7). But now I just have to continue step by step with what I am doing. Slowly but surely the moment will come when I want to win a tournament like this,'' Schindler posted on his socials with a smiley emoji.
Schindler already managed to earn £28,500 in prize money this season. ''The year has been pretty good so far,'' the German added. ''And I will keep working hard so that I can play at the World Matchplay and World Grand Prix again this year.''
