Fallon Sherrock has by her own admission not been at her best during this year's World Series of Darts but heads into this weekend's New Zealand Darts Masters where she will face Kayden Milne looking to finish with a flourish.
Speaking on a recent radio appearance, she spoke about getting the World Series invite and the belief she has that despite only getting two wins in Copenhagen and Wollongong that she can firmly compete with the other big PDC names.
“I think if the opportunity is given to anyone they’re going to take it,” said Sherrock to Mark Stafford on ‘Afternoons with Staffy’.
“I have always wanted to be on the big stage, playing the best players in the world, and there is no better opportunity than here on the World Series.”
“You have to believe in yourself,” added the Milton Keynes ace.
“I know what I can do, and I just try to simplify my game. On my day I can push any of these players.
“I beat Dimitri in the World Series last year. I’ve done well so I have that belief in me, but you always need a bit of luck as well.
"Even at the Grand Slam [last year], I hit a 170 finish out of nowhere to get out of the group. I do think these history-making wins are meant to be."
