Sleeping Aspinall teased by likes of Van den Bergh and George Noble on plane

Almost immediately after the conclusion of the New Zealand Darts Masters, the darters left for the airport in New Zealand to make the crossing to Australia, where there is another World Series tournament later this week.

Due to lack of sleep hours, Nathan Aspinall decided to take a nap during the flight. 'The Asp' will no doubt have looked a bit surprised on his phone when he saw a bunch of likes and other messages in his inbox.

Indeed, fellow darter Dimitri van den Bergh, his manager Mac Elkin, referee George Noble and Aspinall's own manager Martin Foulds saw their chance and secretly took a picture with the sleeping Aspinall.
