Ross Smith produced a brilliant win to see off Stephen Bunting 3-2 and move into the third round for the first time in the 2021/22 PDC
World Darts Championship.
"It was a great game. The atmosphere was fantastic in there, the crowd really helped me. I'm so happy," said Smith post match.
He produced an incredible 167 and 102 checkout en route to claiming the tie and said he was truly in the zone so couldn't remember it.
"I think I was in the moment. As long as I didn't offend anyone with my celebration. It was the deadlock position so I was happy."
Now he will go home and have a Christmas knowing he is into the third round for the first time something which he can't wait for.
"It'll be a lovely Christmas. I'm happy, top 32. I want to kick on, I don't want to settle for Round Three. I'm sick of saying it."
