England will kick start their campaign at the
World Cup of Darts on Friday facing the Czech pair of Adam Gawlas and Karel Sedlacek with
Michael Smith and James Wade leading the charge as top seeds.
Smith after one of the best spells of his career and Wade showing signs he is getting back to his best after illness which 'Bully Boy' believes could be a match made in heaven as they search for the first title since 2016.
“If I can score and Wadey can hit his doubles, we’ll take some stopping, but I’m hitting my doubles and Wadey is scoring now as well," said the US Darts Masters champion.
“It looks like it’s becoming a match made in heaven. He is a ten-time TV winner so he’s got a good head on his shoulders.
“I am finally getting there and he can keep me going hopefully, so we can push on and win that title.”
