Standings after Night One of 2023 Premier League Darts as dazzling Dobey leads Van Gerwen after first win

Albeit at this early stage of proceedings in the 2023 Premier League Darts, Chris Dobey leads the way after Night One in which he collects five points and the first nightly title.
A dazzling debut from 'Hollywood' after winning the Masters last weekend, he proved his worth in the weekly roadshow after many doubted his inclusion due to his ranking compared to other contenders.
Defeating Michael van Gerwen in the final after previously toppling Nathan Aspinall and Peter Wright, he sits ahead of the Green Machine who is on three points and Dimitri van den Bergh, Aspinall who are on two.
Gerwyn Price, Peter Wright, Michael Smith and Jonny Clayton are all pointless after the first night and will aim to add their first points next week in Cardiff.
