The name of the ranking-leader did not change. Glen Durrant kept the lead in the Premier League Darts by beating Rob Cross 7-4. This result did have consequences for Cross, who therefore had to leave the competition.
Peter Wright is the new number two. The reigning world champion defeated Daryl Gurney and took over second place from Michael van Gerwen. The latter was defeated 7-4 by Gary Anderson and dropped to the fourth place. Anderson is now the number five.
Nathan Aspinall rose two places after his 7-5 win over Michael Smith. Gerwyn Price narrowed his gap to the top four to one point with his big 7-0 victory over "challenger" Jermaine Wattimena.
