Standings in Group A-E-F-G after first group matches at the 2024 Grand Slam of Darts

The first group matches of the Grand Slam of Darts are over. In groups A-E-F-G, the first games have been played and it is clear who is in a good position and who needs to hit the ground running.

There were two surprises in Group A on Saturday. Mickey Mansell shocked the darting world against James Wade, while Rowby-John Rodriguez triumphed against reigning world champion Luke Humphries.

Michael Smith is the frontrunner in Group E. 'Bullyboy' triumphed against Mensur Suljovic, while Jermaine Wattimena also started with a win by defeating Mike de Decker.

Luke Littler had an excellent start with a 5-0 win over Keane Barry in Group F. In the same group, there was a big win by Dimitri van den Bergh over Lourence Ilagan (5-1).

Michael van Gerwen leads Group G after the first group matches. Van Gerwen started his tournament with a resounding 5-0 win over Noa-Lynn van Leuven. There was also a win for Gary Anderson, who defeated Ryan Joyce 5-1.
