Like Wessel Nijman who was the early leader, Evans won two days on the bounce and currently leads on leg difference after edging past the Dutchman today winning all of his matches.
’Stretch’ posted shortly after on Twitter that he will be playing tomorrow so he will hope to add some more points to basically win him the first week.
This is due to Andy Jenkins despite playing less games being some way back in 16 points followed by a sizeable gap of 8 points between him and Paul Nicholson.
This is followed by Raymond van Barneveld (who didn’t play today) and Mark Webster in last both with four points going into the final two days of the first week.
