Statistics suggest Wade set to make it third time lucky at Grand Slam of Darts

Tournament statistics are suggesting pre-match between James Wade and Jose de Sousa at the Grand Slam of Darts that the former will get the better of 'The Special One' this evening in Coventry.

Wade is into his third Grand Slam of Darts Final tonight after three wins from three in the groups but he is the only one out of the two to go close to exiting the tournament surviving a match dart in his last tie against Dimitri van den Bergh.

De Sousa despite being the second most prolific 180 hitter in the tournament will have to maintain that with Wade's proficiency on the double helping him out. He holds the highest checkout percentage of players to make it past the second round. He also is ahead in the tournament average.
