Strong Sherrock with whitewash over De Graaf to reach quarter-finals at PDC Women's Series; Suzuki, Ashton and Greaves also in last eight

The ninth tournament of the PDC Women's Series has now progressed to the quarter-finals. Familiar names like Fallon Sherrock, Beau Greaves and Lisa Ashton are still vying for tournament victory.

Sherrock started her tournament with a difficult 4-3 win over Adriana van Wijgerden-Vermaat, but was then convincingly too strong for Katie Sheldon (4-0) and Aileen de Graaf (4-0). Against De Graaf, she even recorded an average of 98.56.

Greaves just threw an average of 98.56 in her first match against Carina Staubitz (4-0). Before that also won over Amy Grant (4-0) and Kirsty Hutchinson (4-2). Ashton dealt with Nathalie van Marm (4-0), Sharon Straatsma-Pul (4-1) and Sarah Roberts (4-0).

The other quarter-finalists at this tournament are Laura Turner, Mikuru Suzuki, Crissy Manley, Lorraine Hyde and Corrine Hammond.

How can I watch the PDC Women's Series?

The matches on the stream board will be broadcast via PDCTV. For this, you need to create an account and take out a subscription. A monthly subscription costs £9.99, while an annual subscription is also available for £59.99. A special summer pass is also available. 

There are also live streams available through various betting sites. With these websites, you usually need a balance of at least five euros to access the stream offer.

How much prize money is there to be won at the PDC Women's Series?

If there are at least 128 players competing, then the entrants on the PDC Women's Series will be in the prizes from the last 64, with £50 for reaching this round. If there are fewer than 128 players, the counter only starts running from the last 32. In that case, they do collect £100 already.

This amount eventually increases. A place in the final already earns £1000. The winner of the tournament receives £2,000 in prize money.
