Phil Taylor's second appearance in A Night at the Darts has concluded with 'The Power' seeing off both Martin Adams and Fallon Sherrock to end it all off - albeit in last leg deciders.
Taylor who went unbeaten barring in one game last time ends proceedings with three wins and two defeats having been seen off by the two tournament stand-outs David Evans and Wessel Nijman earlier in the night.
Like last week though, all eyes were on 'The Power's duels with Adams and Sherrock. In the former, he was down 2-0 with Adams hitting 153 and 121 checkouts but Taylor claimed four out of the next five legs from there to seal the deal with four 180's and a 97.8 average.
Following that, a game dubbed 'The King of the Oche' vs 'The Queen of the Palace' saw Taylor survive a scare. He edged out Sherrock in a 4-3 win despite the Milton Keynes ace impressing with two ton-plus checkouts including a high checkout of 122 en route.
From here on out, it is all league phase for the rest of proceedings. In between Taylor's appearances, there were victories for Sherrock who saw off Michael Warburton 5-3 and the aforementioned league standouts David Evans and Wessel Nijman faced off with the young Dutchman getting the better of 'Stretch' in a 5-4 win.
A Night At The Darts is a competition that runs in conjunction with the Icons of Darts League. Each playing week consists of six players. There are five players on each matchday with one player taking a rest.
Each evening like the day consists of four matches for each player with the player with the most wins claiming the group win.
