Graham Usher capped off a brilliant week by sealing his Tour Card outright at PDC UK Q-School defeating Adam Warner in the final.
'The Gambler' has starred on the MODUS Super Series in particular this past year and puts that down as the key to his success and getting the consistent match practice and the belief.
"It hasn't sunk in yet. Adam was unlucky, he's played well all day. I've played well all week. I'm chuffed," said Usher after the final.
"This time I believed, I didn't believe before. It's down to the games at MODUS (Super Series) and getting that match practice, it does make a difference. I'm on cloud nine right now."
"It's down to my son saying come on you're good enough. I'm over the moon I know I don't look it."
Now many trips to come in Barnsley and Wigan for Usher who is relishing them mainly due to not having to travel seven hours to play darts.
"It's great as living in Scarborough going down to the MODUS, it's like seven hours. Barnsley is an hour and a half, happy days. Looking forward to the challenge."
