THROWBACK VIDEO: Dolan gains 'History Maker' moniker with first ever World Grand Prix double start nine-dart finish

The 2021 World Grand Prix will start on Sunday 3 October. In the run-up to this tournament, DartsNews.com continues to look back on some of the best moments and matches from this unique darting week.

Brendan Dolan is known as 'The History Maker' but gained this moniker back in 2011 after becoming the first player ever to throw a nine-dart finish at the World Grand Prix in Dublin.

This achievement is even more impressive considering the double in, double out. Dolan started with 160, followed by a 180. He went onto throw a 161 finish to complete the feat.
