THROWBACK VIDEO: Drama filled sudden death final in 2012 World Cup of Darts between Australia and England

With the World Cup of Darts starting on Thursday night in Jena, DartsNews looks back at one of the best known ties in the history of the tournament back in 2012.

A final between England and Australia was set with the teams of Phil Taylor and Adrian Lewis as well as Simon Whitlock and Paul Nicholson.

The former took a 3-0 lead but thanks to a victory for Nicholson over Lewis, Australia forced a pairs tie.

The Aussie's won the pairs game and made it 3-3. A deciding leg was set to decide the title and the result is below.
