The World Series of Darts barring the finals in Salzburg will not take place this year and that includes of course the Australia/New Zealand leg which is a fixture of the post World Matchplay calendar so DartsNews looks back at the best moments from past tournaments Down Under.
During the 2015 Sydney Darts Masters, Michael van Gerwen provided a hilarious moment. While Raymond van Barneveld was busy putting 170 away, Van Gerwen dropped a glass of water on the floor in the background.
Van Barneveld who was attempting to concentrate saw the funny side and laughed when he saw Van Gerwen was the instigator.
The game was also won by the doyen of Dutch darts with an average of 102, he claimed the double dutch clash 8-4.
