Van den Bergh becomes only third player to average 105+ in Grand Slam group stage

Dimitri van den Bergh is only the third player to average over 105 in the Grand Slam of Darts group stage after he secured his knockout stage spot.

Van den Bergh averaged 114.85 which was the single highest average in a match in the tournament to defeat Ricky Evans. He also averaged 104.33 against Wayne Warren to book his place from Group H.

This has given him an average of 106.46. Only Phil Taylor who averaged 107.11 and 106.75 in 2013 and 2014 has averaged more with Michael van Gerwen just behind with 106.21 and 105.83 in 2017 and 2018.
