Dimitri van den Bergh came from 5-2 down to claim a draw with James Wade and set up a straight shootout with Jonny Clayton on the final night of regular Premier League Darts action.
It was duly pointed out during the Sky Sports coverage that Van den Bergh has not got the results warranting his averages and this is a point he discussed post match.
"I did have that feeling like what more do I have to do but afterwards they told me what my averages were and I'm like you know what there is nothing for me to tell myself you need to be negative. Everything what I'm doing is going right, it's just not happening.
"That's why you're playing in the Premier League. It's showing why its called that way and why the best of the best is in this tournament so I'm not going to kick myself, I'm not going to bring myself down."
He also discussed the Clayton tie coming up which will see the victor move into the final play-off spot.
"It is definitely a big game but I think the World Matchplay final is still the biggest one ever."
