Dimitri van den Bergh has undergone knee surgery on Tuesday after playing for several months with a knee brace on to support the joints in his knee.
Van den Bergh has now had the knee joint replaced after the initial surgery was postponed for several months due to the World Championship and other important tournaments for 'The Dreammaker'.
He has previously stated that he hopes to recover from his operation in four to eight weeks which potentially rules out the first lot of PDC Super Series and the UK Open.
