Vincent van der Voort produced a nine-dart finish during his opener at Players Championship 19, albeit to no avail in terms of winning the match.

'The Dutch Destroyer' sealed it against Radek Szaganski, but went on to be defeated 6-5 by the Pole. He produced it in the penultimate leg going the usual 180, 180, 141 route. But this was a mere hold.

On Szaganski's throw, he left 35, but the former took out 41 to claim it with a 15-darter.
