Van der Voort on practising with Van Gerwen: "Never seen someone playing so well in practice"

Vincent van der Voort practices with Michael van Gerwen, his close friend on average around twice a week during the Coronavirus pandemic but as he freely admits, he gets beat more often than not.

"I've never seen anyone play so well in practice," said Van der Voort to RTL7 Darts about his training mate Van Gerwen. "It really takes all the effort for me to keep up with him a bit."

For Van der Voort, he is starting to get agitated during lockdown. “I'm someone who normally watches a lot of sports on television, so I'm bored now. In addition to practice, I am also involved in my dart shop and regularly bring some orders to people. ”

“I actually expected that I wouldn't miss playing darts, but it's the opposite. I miss playing tournaments and feeling that match tension. As far as I am concerned, the tour cannot start again quickly enough," concludes 'The Dutch Destroyer'.
