Van Gerwen beats Price to conclude four-match series in draw

Michael van Gerwen defeated Gerwyn Price on Sunday night in a exhibition event in Norwich, England. As a result, the four-set match between the two rivals ended in a draw.

The Dutchman and the Welshman met daily from Thursday through Sunday at demonstrations in the United Kingdom. Van Gerwen had won the first showdown on Thursday in Bradford, despite a nine-darter from Price.

On Friday and Saturday, the world's numbers three and four were on display in Barnsley and Skegness. There, both duels were won by Price, who recorded an average of no less than 113 against 'Mighty Mike' in Barnsley.

The party, which also includes Fallon Sherrock, Robert Thornton and darts legend Bobby George, had traveled to Norwich on Sunday for the final event. There it was Van Gerwen who took the victory 9-3 with an average of over 105.
