Michael van Gerwen has moved further and further ahead in the
Premier League Darts standings after taking the weekly title for the third week in a row in Liverpool on Thursday night.
After six weeks of play, the Dutchman is on 20 points. That is already substantially more than number two Michael Smith, who is in second place with 12 points.
The current top four is completed by Nathan Aspinall (11 points) and Gerwyn Price (eight points). Dimitri van den Bergh and Jonny Clayton (both seven points) follow close behind.
The seventh spot is held by Chris Dobey with five points. Peter Wright picked up his first points in this Premier League Darts on Thursday night, but is still in last place with two points.
