Michael van Gerwen is not performing well so far at the PDC Super Series in Niedernhausen. The Dutchman lost early in the tournament for a third successive day as he went down 6-1 against Gino Vos in the second round.
Van Gerwen had a tough first round win over Gary Blades (6-4), before averaging 91 in his defeat against Vos. Especially his scoring was not good enough from the world number two, who did not score a single 140 or 180.
After three of the four days of the PDC Super Series 3, Van Gerwen has yet to go past the second round. On Saturday he lost in the first round to Josh Payne and on Sunday William Borland was too strong in the second round.
