Michael van Gerwen seems to be on the right track again after a bad spell of form. He already secured qualification for the knockout stage at the Grand Slam of Darts after two group matches.
Van Gerwen had a couple shock losses at the major tournaments recently. "Yet there have been no other players who spoke to me about that. I might have dared to hand out a small stitch, but they might not have the guts for that'', he joked. ''I am someone who can tease people, but I can accept it from other people as well. This is also necessary if you spend so much time together on the circuit'', the Dutchman told RTL 7.
"Even though it has not been going well in last few months, I don't need to be motivated by other people. After all, I am someone who is always critical of myself and also puts a lot of pressure on."
