Berry Van Peer's career resurgence on the PDC Challenge Tour has been remarkable. The Dutchman has recovered from a battle with dartitis to become utterly dominant and getting back to winning ways,
The 26-year-old Dutchman has already won four Challenge Tour events and seems certain to regain his PDC Tour Card at the end of the year and earn himself a spot at the Alexandra Palace for the World Darts Championship in December.
So far this year, Van Peer has taken home a grand total of £11,625 in prize money. Not only is that more than the amount earned by this year's second most successful player, Chris Landman and the third most successful player, Christian Kist combined, it is also already the most dominant year ever seen on the PDC Challenge Tour.
Prior to this year, the £11,600 won by Michael Barnard back in 2018 held the record for the most amount of prize money won on the Challenge Tour. Van Peer has already gone past that amount and now the question is just how high can the Dutchman set the bar?
