Four more contenders are vying for World Darts Championship placement at the qualifying tournament for Western European players in Kalkar, Germany. Two remaining players are from the Netherlands, the others from France and Switzerland.
Danny van Trijp qualified for the semifinals after a 6-3 victory over Maik Kuivenhoven. Van Trijp will face Thibault Tricole in the last four after the Frenchman was too strong for Jelle Klaasen.
Wesley Plaisier and Stefan Bellmont will battle for that other spot in the final. Plaisier settled with Danny Jansen (6-5) in the last eight. Bellmont eliminated Mareno Michels 6-4.
