No one has ever thrown as many televised nine-dart finishes in a calendar year as Gerwyn Price in 2022. The Iceman' already has four this year, and almost threw his fifth TV nine-dart finish of the season on Friday afternoon.
Price started the deciding leg of his match against Damon Heta with two 180-scores. The Welshman then hit the treble 19 and the treble 20, but his ninth dart wired double 12.
With an 11-darter, Price did manage to take the victory. The World Number One will play Simon Whitlock in the quarterfinals of the Queensland Darts Masters on Saturday.
