Michael van Gerwen claimed victory at the Champions League of Darts this past weekend with a brilliant comeback in the final against Peter Wright.
Wright was seemingly cruising to victory with some superb darts but missed multiple chances to claim victory in a match similar to the Premier League final. Like in that final, Mighty Mike took advantage to win.
As a result, he lifted the first darts wrestling belt given out for a title win replacing the old trophy and it is once again another branding move by title sponsors Paddy Power.
