James Wade will play at the
US Darts Masters this weekend at Madison Square Garden and ‘The Machine’ is looking forward to it and after years of being in Las Vegas when the PDC visits, it is a new experience.
“I’m really excited! I’m buzzing for it,” said Wade, who triumphed at the
World Series of Darts Finals in 2018.
“I am just looking forward to the whole experience. I know I’ve earned it. I know I’m there on merit so that also helps you enjoy the experience as well.
“It is going to be something new, and for someone that has been playing the game so long, it is not very often I get to do something new, so that adds to the excitement for me.”
Recently Wade had his highly documented health scare but now he is refreshed and raring to go.
“I have had three weeks off. It has been lovely! It’s like I have had a summer holiday,” he joked.
“Now it is back to reality, back to the job, and I’m looking forward to winning things.
“It seems that when I am in the right mood and if I want to switch on, it just comes on. I’m confident. I’m in a good place.”
