Whilst there were no problems on the board for Kim Huybrechts and Dimitri Van den Bergh as Belgium opened their World Cup of Darts campaign with a 4-0 win over Finland, there was clearly an issue between the Belgian pair.
"I thought it was a good performance," said Van den Bergh in his post-match interview with Online Darts. "The thing is we won doesn't matter how everyone else sees it. We did the business and that's all that matters."
For Van den Bergh, the intention is clear. Let his darts do the talking. "Besides that I've got no comment," he replies when pressed about the lack of cohesion between the Belgian pair. "We can win this tournament. It doesn't matter how we feel, what we do. I know how he is, he knows how I am and as soon as were on that stage, playing a game, we give 100%."
"Don't worry about that we'll give 100% from the start until the end," continues Van den Bergh. "I think as soon as we get rolling we've got all the chance in the world."
