Simon Whitlock and
Damon Heta won through in a comfortable 5-0 opener against Italy at the
World Cup of Darts as Australia had a third member on their mind throughout the tie.
The crowd chanted Kyle Anderson's name who sadly passed away a few weeks ago during the match and he is on both player's minds throughout.
"You can't argue with that, good start. Me and my mate here we played alright," said Whitlock on Sky Sports.
"We always dreamt one day that we would play the World Cup together and I think this is the one that we played together," said Heta.
"I didn't play too well to be fair, hopefully in these later stages, I'll turn up."
"We're not just playing for Australia, we're playing for Kyle," continued Whitlock.
