World Matchplay.
Nathan Aspinall accounted for the most 180-scores during the prestigious tournament in Blackpool.
Aspinall, who also managed to win the World Matchplay, threw a total of 44 maximum scores during the tournament. With that, 'The Asp' was still some way off the record of Adrian Lewis, who produced the highest possible score no less than 56 times during the 2013 edition.
Luke Humphries, who was eliminated in the semifinals by
Jonny Clayton, finished second in the standings with 30 180 scores. Losing finalist Clayton himself reached 23 maximum scores, which also put him ahead of Joe Cullen (29).
