Peter Wright claimed victory against Simon Whitlock in a dominant display and as a result he continues his unbeaten run to 20 matches.

As a result he joins an elite list of players who have won this amount of games in a row as well. Phil Taylor is the first back in 1997; the feat was next achieved in 2007 by Raymond van Barneveld.
Michael van Gerwen was next in 2013 and then Gary Anderson was the last one back in 2015. Wright's 20 matches have included three title wins in five days last week and since then he has shown world class form also at the World Matchplay.
Will 'Snakebite' continue his form and take the World Matchplay title come the end of the week?
