Peter Wright had to withdraw from the latter stages of the German Darts Championship this past weekend but will be back in action alongside Gerwyn Price this week at the Premier League Darts in Nottingham.
Snakebite was already struggling with problems with his gallstones, but now also has to deal with a back injury.
His rival Price had not travelled at all to the Euro Tour tournament in Hildesheim due to a hand injury and had to withdraw last week in Brighton last minute.

"It's been a really hard couple of weeks," said Wright. "I've not been anywhere near 100 percent this month.
"The back issue on top of the gallstones was the last straw for me in Germany at the weekend. I feel better now that I've been checked out by the docs.
"I will have to look after myself a bit now, rest as much as I can between events. If I can focus on the darts, I think I win matches."
