Peter Wright will restart his
Premier League Darts title bid on Wednesday night when he takes on table topper Nathan Aspinall.
For most players though, they will look ahead to the latter half of the Premier League with fans set to return and as a fans favourite, 'Snakebite' is excited.
“I need that nervous energy back, the adrenaline I miss so much. The fans make darts really and so many of the players miss that," said Wright to Oche.
“It’s hard to think now that we were playing in front of 10,000 in so many places and you couldn’t hear yourself think.
“I know it will take time to get back to that size of crowds. But I just can’t wait. It was great to see a full house at the snooker, I was jealous.
“Part of my game has always been a showman. That walk-on, the dance, everything just gets my blood pumping. I think showmanship has always been a big thing for the sport. Look at Eric Bristow and Bobby George, they started it all really and I’m just carrying it on with a lot more wacky colours.”
