Neil Duff's early World Open exit means that Jelle Klaasen finishes the season as WDF World No.1 and qualifies for the 2023 WDF World Championship as top seed. 🐍 Great to see 'The Cobra' getting back to his best!
Jelle Klaasen finished the World Darts Federation (WDF) season as World Number One. That also means 'The Cobra' will be top seed at the WDF World Darts Championship
Klaasen managed to win two major ranking tournaments at the WDF in 2022. In June he was the best at the Dutch Open in Assen, and in November Klaasen triumphed at the Irish Open.
He replaces Neil Duff at the top of the standings, the current WDF World Champion with James Hurrell who was top seed this season in third spot. But overall, it has been some turnaround for 'The Cobra' since losing his Tour Card.
