Francois Schweyen and Noa-Lynn van Leuven came out on top on Sunday during the singles tournament of the WDF Belgium Open in Antwerp, Belgium.
The tournament featured a Belgian final in the men's event. Schweyen defeated Carlo van Peer (4-2), Wesley Plaisier (4-1) and Owen McNiven (4-3), among others, to qualify for the final. In the final match Andy Baetens was the opponent, after 'The Beast' dealt with Johnny Haines (4-0) and Stefaan Deprez (4-0) among others. The final was a 5-2 victory for Schweyen.
Van Leuven ensured Dutch success in the women's tournament. Van Leuven captured her second WDF title by triumphing 5-3 against Rhian O'Sullivan in the women's final.
