The World Seniors Darts Matchplay continues on Saturday afternoon with Tungsten Time coming just after 1pm involving the likes of Tony O'Shea, Lisa Ashton, John Part, Peter Manley and Peter Evison.
O'Shea was sat in the crowd on the opening night enjoying an ice cold beverage with his opponent on Saturday in a player he will know very well from his BDO days in Brian 'Doggy' Dawson. They will face off and he will have to put his friendship to aside for a short period of time in the Best of 15 format.
Awaiting the winner is a tie with Robert Thornton in the first round, while for Lisa Ashton or Paul Hogan, it is a tie with the first ever World Matchplay champion in Larry Butler.
Impressing at times during the World Championship, the American will get a tough task no matter who comes through but one he will be confident in albeit against an in-form Lancashire Rose and 'Crocodile Dundee' who has been known to produce on the big stage.
The carrot dangled in the third game is a tie with Phil Taylor as two of his rivals collide in John Part and Peter Manley. Will 'Darth Maple' find some form finally on the WSDT or will dark arts prevail as 'One Dart' returns to the World Seniors.
Before the player of the opening night returns in Colin McGarry against an ever confident, Peter Evison. A player who is hard to gauge due to his lack of competitive action but one that has been very vocal in some comments which were the talk of the darting world for some time about not being included in these tournaments.
He gets a chance to produce albeit in a hard tie against 'The Chief' but is it all words or will his darts do the talking? Will 'The Fen Tiger' roar again?
