Cameron Menzies is through to the second round at the
European Darts Matchplay where he will play Luke Humphries after a 6-3 win with a 102 average.
"It was one of the games where I was just thinking break his throw, you've got his throw, you need to break his throw to win this and every time he was on his throw he battered me and I thought just give me a chance," said Menzies.
"I stole one leg, 6-3 sounds like a one sided game and it's not, it's just breaking a throw changed the game massively. I'm happy to get through here because when you travel this long you want to get to the second day."
But in facing Humphries as a Rangers fan, he believes he is a future World Champion in darts but isn't a fan on his loyalties towards Leeds.
"Thing is no matter what I do against Luke I can get beat 6-0, 6-1, 6-2. I've got nothing to lose. That guy's amazing, he's a terrible football fan supporting Leeds. He's not getting Ryan Kent but what a player it is and it won't be long until he's World Champion."
