Current BDO Chairman, Des Jacklin recently sent out a letter to all counties denying any wrongdoing and attempting to clear his name.
Jacklin was appointed Chairman of the BDO in 2018, succeeding Sue Williams in that capacity. The current chairman has been the subject of various accusations but has revealed that the former is now part of a fraud investigation.
"Sue was elected onto the BDO Board in 2018 (even after the years of abuse that she had
taken on Social Media as chairlady) as Financial Director," said Jacklin.
"I always wondered why she wanted this position but to be clear; there is a South Wales Fraud investigation going on right now, many people (including both Sue and Wayne Williams) have been
interviewed in the past 2 weeks this is fact."
"Unfortunately the sponsor I had did fall through on the very day I was elected to the position as
Chairman in August 2018," he continued.
"This was purely and simply because Sue Williams retained a position on the BDO Board; my Sponsor (and good friend) refused to put his money into the BDO, to make matters even worst the position Sue Williams retained was Financial Director?
If I’m honest I was devastated because I had already assigned the money; planned what
amount was going where and what areas of the BDO were going to benefit from this
cash injection, I had planned this out with the accountant and the people I had in place
to come onto the BDO Board of directors."
