John Henderson already won a Challenge Tour tournament recently and is showing good form again this week. During the ninth week of play of the
MODUS Super Series, 'The Highlander' won the first pool.
During the first three days of this week's play, the six participants each played three times against the other players in the group. Henderson managed to win 12 of the 15 matches and finished at the top of the group with 24 points. This made the Scot the first player to qualify for the final group, which will be played on Saturday.
In Group B, Lukas Wenig (18 points) and Dan Read (14 points) get another chance to make the final group. They enter a group with Reece Colley, Martyn Turner and Darren Johnson. They will compete Thursday and Friday for three spots in the final group.
Vitezslav Sedlak, Neil Duff and Chris Gilliland finished in places four through six in Group A, so they will now move on to Group C. Shaun Griffiths, Ryan Murray and Chris Wickenden join them in this group, with two more players advancing to Saturday.
