Daniel Lee probably isn't a name that's known to a wide number of darting fans, however, going by his recent appearance on the MODUS Super Series, the Englishman won't soon be forgotten by those who saw him play.
Leaving commentators, fans and even fellow darters stunned by his curious set-up shots, Lee made a somewhat unique impression. For example, with one dart left in hand, Lee was on a score of 202. He decided to hit the double 16 to leave 170. That finish did not go out, but with a 100 score he did leave 70.
Nevertheless, the Englishman also had a remarkable route in mind to throw out 70. He threw his first arrow into the double 15, then hit tops to take the leg. Check out Daniel Lee's remarkable set-up shots in the video below!

- I dont like individuals or crowds trying to put any player off when they are trying to check out, how anyone can think its okay for the crowd to whistle or shout as someone is throwing for a double is beyond me but it does seem to have become part and parcel of the modern game. I no longer play now, darts is as good as dead at a local level round my way but when i did play many years ago, no matter how intense the rivalry you never shouted out or whistled when an opponent from the other team was throwing for a double.Mysstree17-11-2024
