8 events have been completed in this years’ Challenge Tour and Michael Barnard sits top of the Order of Merit. This is after a first win for him over the weekend which adds to the form he has already show on the tour.
As well as this due to the rules of the Challenge Tour he will continue to make up the numbers at ProTour events and will be first on the list.
Showing the strength of the likes of Barnard as well as Jarred Cole, Simon Preston and Diogo Portela. All 4 are constantly in and around the latter stages of the tournaments so stand themselves in good stead in terms of the battle for the tour cards come the end of the year.
The likes of Tony O’Shea, Wes Newton and Mark Walsh sit further down the list while players like Ted Evetts and Dennis Nilsson have got into the top ten with their wins over the weekend.

- It happens. Remember, anyone who has watched German and Dutch players in matches - their respective countries will have seen/heard just as bad jeering (if not worse). - Was watching an old World Masters final the other day between Eric Bristow and John Lowe, the crowd respect for both players on throw was first class, not a sound. You can imagine now the idiots who were whistling on De Deckers throw proudly boasting about it on social media.
