Raymond van Barneveld is set to miss the Dutch Darts Masters this weekend. The 5-time world champion lost in the Perth World Series event final to Gary Anderson on Sunday, and believes the travelling would be too much for him.
The Dutchman has competed in all 25 of the World Series events in the history of the circuit, but will arrive back in his home country of the Netherlands too late for him to travel to the qualifiers.
Barney's next event will be the Champions League of Darts in September where he is set to renew his rivalry with Michael van Gerwen, Adrian Lewis and Phil Taylor in his group.
