Steve Beaton and Toni Alcinas reach the second round of the European Darts Trophy in Göttingen after coming through a leg-decider on Friday evening.

Alcinas defused eight maximum scores from Danny Noppert, who missed thirteen doubles during the game. The Spaniard took out 43 percent of his chances, which brought him the win after a leg-decider.
Beaton survived a match-dart against Kim Huybrechts, who missed one dart on the bullseye to claim the victory. 'The Bronzed Adonis' took out 78 in the next turn to book his place in the second round. Dutch ace Jeffrey de Zwaan beat German qualifier Steffen Siepmann to reach the second round of the European Darts Trophy.
