After the win Brown heaped praise on his opponent calling him a class player despite not knowing much about him going into the night.
“I went 1-0 up in the first set and thought to myself I can win this 3-0 and then he started playing well. He was an absolutely class player, to be honest I don’t know too much about him but he played well,” said Brown.
‘The Needle’ said about his opponent in the second round in Jelle Klaasen that his form this season shouldn’t be a gauge as you don’t know what Jelle will turn up.
“It is and it isn’t, with Jelle when he’s had a bit of an up and down season you’re not too sure what you’re going to get. I’m just going to go out there and try to win.”
