The updated Order of Merit has been released after this past weekends Players Championship events. It sees amongst the movers, Darren Webster who overtakes Jelle Klaasen to close in on the top 16.
The ‘Demolition Man’ seems certain to continue his rise up the rankings after a great past few months for the man from Norfolk. With Alan Norris his next potential victim seemingly on the slide, Webster could be in the top 16 with a few more good runs.
Also on the move is Stephen Bunting, he is edging back towards the worlds elite after having a resurgence. ‘The Bullet’ nearly packed the game up last year but is now close to the top 20.
Finally despite seemingly being in bad form, Cristo Reyes continued to move up the rankings making it to 30th after the weekend. It is only the start of the season though meaning there will be a lot of changes in the coming months.
