Diogo Portela will make his debut at the PDC World Championship in a few short days time and will play Peter Wright in the first round of the showpiece event and Portela who is a player who just seems to be getting better and better as time goes by appearing on his first Euro Tour and getting valuable Pro Tour experience has spoken to Live Darts ahead of his first appearance at Ally Pally and even though he doesn't have much expectation, he is looking forward to it. "I'm really looking forward to it," Portela told Live Darts. "It's the most important tournament and anyone would pick the World Championship over any other. "To be fair, I don't have much expectation, Peter is the second best player in the world. "When I was watching the draw on TV, I thought it could've been a little bit easier! "Everyone in the top 32 is more than good enough to beat me but I will give Peter a proper game. "Not that I fancy my chances but I will give him something to worry about."
