Max Hopp ended up winning the German Darts Open 2018 after being a Host Nation Qualifier and there is further good news for the German as he will be announced as a Euro Tour winner at the next event in Austria after qualifying for both events.
Also enjoying a double qualifying success are Dimitri van den Bergh and Ronny Huybrechts, both of which also appeared in Saarbrucken and after not having the best time there they will hope to put that right and attempt to do like Hopp has done.
In addition the likes of Cristo Reyes, Ron Meulenkamp and Kevin Munch will also be involved as they make their returns to the Euro Tour. This is especially good news for Meulenkamp as he aims to continue his good early season form.
Also the German, Simeon Heinz will make his debut after multiple attempts to qualify for European Tour's previously proved fruitless.

- Was watching an old World Masters final the other day between Eric Bristow and John Lowe, the crowd respect for both players on throw was first class, not a sound. You can imagine now the idiots who were whistling on De Deckers throw proudly boasting about it on social media.
